1. Write each of the given quantities mathematically (e.g., "radius increases at a rate of 50ft/min: dr/dt = 50ft/min)
2. Draw a diagram illustrating each of the quantities in the problem
3. Find an equation relating each of the quantities in the problem.
4. Derive the equation with respect to t.
5. Substitute values and solve.
